Calamosche beach, in eastern Sicily, near Noto, has a unique charm. In 2005 it was elected by Legambiente as the most beautiful beach in Italy. Surrounded by two headlands, it is characterized by the presence of a lively and dense Mediterranean scrub. It can be reached with a 20-minute walk on a dirt path.
